Adam is a chartered town planner with 13 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, who currently advises a range of private sector clients looking to navigate the ever changing planning landscape, unlock development potential and secure permissions for their sites.
The planning constraints and diversity of the built and natural environment in the southeast means that Adam has extensive experience of sites in the Green Belt and countryside; the South Downs National Park; rural settlements; towns; and wholly urban areas.
Adam specialises in residential developments and, in particular, concept to design and delivery projects; site appraisals and strategies; estate planning; strategic site promotion; renewable energy projects; phased educational development; and commercial developments, including change of use/re-use.
Adam’s emotional intelligence and experience within the industry means that meaningful working relationships have been developed with many local authorities and other professionals within the sector. Combined with first-hand Local Authority experience and at all levels of planning appeal, including being an expert witness at public inquiries, ensures advice is robust and clients receive good value in seeking to realise potential and secure decisions in a timely and predictable fashion.
