D&M Planning have successfully appealed the decision of Elmbridge Borough Council to refuse planning permission for the creation of three houses.
Following the Council's decision to refuse planning permission, an appeal has been allowed for a two storey side extension to create three new dwellings. In justifying the decision, the Inspector stated that the development "would make efficient use of the land to the side of the existing building and contribute towards meeting the shortfall in housing supply in the Borough..... The overall composition would create a well-proportioned and appropriately detailed appearance that would respect the character and appearance of the existing building and the street scene".
