D&M Planning Ltd are proud to have successfully helped achieve planning permission for the erection of a pair of semi-detached units following demolition of the existing bungalow. Previous applications for the erection of residential units had been refused on the site with concerns expressed regarding the design, impact on neighbours, parking etc. Working closley with the architect, Matt was able to assist with the design of a scheme that overcame such objections and was supported by the Council.
In considering the application Croydon Council fully agreed with the position set out within the planning statement acknowledging that this would represent sustainable development with significant benefits to the local area.
The client is now able to provide a net increase of family homes to the borough which will enhance the street scene.
